I saw these at the Alameda Antique Fair today and thought about carrying water. Water has become an increasingly important resource, one which we in the west have tended to take for granted. Here in Sonoma County, California, we are experiencing a severe drought and I think about our precious resource every time I turn on the tap or drink a glass of water. We are fortunate to have clean drinking water, while in other places in the world they do not, or they have to walk quite a distance to seek water and carry it back with them, perhaps in jars like these.
A 365-day photo project dedicated to finding beauty in the moment.
Yep. I didn't quite make one photo each day for the whole year. I'm sad about that. But, I've decided not to give up even though my Embracing Grace Everyday photo project will be missing the month of July. So, here's the photo for Aug. 1. My best buddy, Mystery, loves to just be around me and often he will stick out his paw to be just a little closer to me. It's so cute and I love it! He really is my best buddy.
