The most peaceful thing one can do is Accept. Acceptance, without judgment, of people, circumstances and situations allows a freedom within the individual. Acceptance is not condoning or wanting something unwanted. It is not passive. Acceptance is actively acknowledging another or situation and allowing it to be. Accepting and allowing are closely related. Acceptance is a choice; the choice to allow what is without fighting, arguing, complaining, justifying or rationalizing. Acceptance can be a difficult thing to do when the mind is attached to either what it wants or what it thinks is right. Therefore, acceptance can be a practice all on its own.
