  1. Remember where you come from.
  2. Listen to older people's stories.

  4. Don't count your chickens before they hatch.
  5. Know who you are.

  7. Don't be afraid to speak up.
  8. Everyone has something to contribute.
  9. Be on time.
  10. Everything you do has your signature on it.
  11. Do your homework.
  12. Truth is in the math.
  13. Numbers don't lie, people do.
  14. When people show you who they are, believe them.
  15. Be your own best friend.
  16. Do something every day outside of your comfort zone.
  17. Practice, practice, practice.
  18. Life can change in a moment.
  19. When you fall, pick yourself up and try again.
  20. Cookies are good!
  21. The world is a beautiful place.
  22. Change is inevitable and I am resilient.
