This is Crane Creek. A bit low for this time of year for sure. The result of the drought we are experiencing in California. I see the birds and wildlife not to mention the domesticated animals such as sheep, horses, cows, etc. in the area, and wonder what the effect will be if we continue enduring seasons without precipitation. It's such a beautiful area, but the trees and foliage are showing the wear from life without an appropriate level of water.
I went hiking with my camera in Crane Creek Regional Park and spied these little beauties. There were just the pair of them throughout my whole hike. Spring is on it's way! I've always loved Spring when all kinds of wildflowers start popping up. One of the many graceful moments in nature.
